Profile Dr Syed Bazli Alwi

Dr Syed Bazli Alwi graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Universiti Malaya in 2006 and later completed his specialist training in Orthodontics in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Membership of Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2017.

He is involved in the teaching of the Orthodontics program for the undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Faculty of Dentistry UiTM, serving as the current undergraduate Orthodontic course co-ordinator.

While also actively participating in research with interests in acceleration of orthodontic tooth movement, orthodontic biomechanics, oral health-related quality of life studies, orthognathic surgery, as well as digital dentistry—Dr Bazli also believes in providing the best care towards patients especially in orthodontics, as well as in developing young minds and future leaders of dentistry.

When he is not thinking about orthodontics, you can find him dabbling in photography, music and football.
